What is the #selfieproject?

#selfieproject is an awesome hangout where photographers alike can share their selfies with other photographers in the business.  It doesn't matter if you are just breaking into photography, been doing it for a while, or only pull out the camera when necessary, this project is to help your creativity flow and to help men and women both regain confidence in themselves.


How can I submit photos to be featured?

You can submit your self-portraits to haleynicolephotography@yahoo.com
You can submit about 5-7 images to be featured. Please understand that it is very possible that not every image will be featured. Along with your images, please leave a short 7-10 sentence paragraph about yourself.
Please take a look at submission guidelines BEFORE submitting any images for the #selfieproject.

What are the submission guidelines?

1. All images MUST be sent via email. (Facebook is NOT an acceptable way to submit images for the #selfieproject) any submissions that come from any social media site will not be accepted and will not be reviewed.

2. Your bio + Images must reflect your style. All images must be taken with a DSLR. The point of this project is to stretch your creativity and to get you in front of the lens.  Cell phone images that are submitted will not be accepted or reviewed.  Please do NOT submit nude images.  These types of images would most likely be better featured on a different blog. BE YOURSELF.

3. Images + Bios that are in bad taste or submitted as a joke will NOT be tolerated NOR will they be featured or reviewed.  Bullying will not be tolerated or allowed.  Comments on any feature that are meant in a hurtful way will result in termination of the site and any features that might be submitted by you will be taken down.

4. After submitting, please look out for a follow up email letting you know your images were selected for a feature and the feature date. A typical follow up email can arrive in your inbox as early as 2 weeks.  If any questions arrive about your feature, please feel free to email me and ask away.

5.  If you fit the requirements of all of these guidelines, feel free to submit today.
